When you work at call center, you learn how to tune out everyone around you. If you didn’t, you would not be able to hear your customers. It becomes second nature to focus on only the customer when on a call. The second the caller hangs up though? All of your hearing returns in full force. And it can be hilarious. These are just some of the gems I’ve heard in between calls. (I work at a telecommunications company).
You’re doing it wrong, don’t scratch it.
The little silver thing you fit in the hole.
When one of my things falls off, I call.
Drop dead (to me by customer).
Every inch counts.
