Work has been a bear lately. Everyone complaining, mandatory overtime, and school on top of it. I’m not sure if I’ll ever find peace.
The fact of the matter is, I may not have my job much longer. Apparently customer service is no longer what’s important. It’s only sales. And I’m not great at pushing people for sales. There is a reason though.

People will either buy or they won’t. Someone calling in to make a payment do NOT want to spend more money. I know I don’t. And most people are calling in to LOWER their bill. So guess what answer I get every time I offer something. NO!!!

I don’t understand what happened to customer service. There never seems to be someone on the other end that will actually care what I have to say. That may be why I can’t seem to sell. I understand all too well where the caller is coming from.

Of course, it doesn’t mean I want to hear…..”I just got my bill”. That seems to bring out the worst in people.


  1. There are some customer service people that I love talking to. They are the ones you can crack a joke with and they get it and laugh and aren't super serious all the time. It's always luck of the draw tho.

  2. I have an issue with customer service myself. They just don't seem to warm up to me...and I give them bling bling to wear. I don't get it. People are so fickle. :)
