I Have A Bone To Pick

I have noticed lately that some people are not making a real post on the blog hops they join in. It must have come to the attention of some other bloggers because I have seen some them commenting on it too. I have not noticed that with any of my followers and, for that, I am grateful. Have any of you noticed this?

The problem with not making a real post is that those who check out your blog during the hop may not follow because they have no real sense of who you are or what your blog is about. In order to gain and keep followers you need to let them know what kind of blog you have and what kind of person you are. Some of us have blogs to do giveaways, some product reviews, some for family, and some for very personal reasons. Let people know what you are about. You will have followers faster than you can turn around. I know I don’t want to follow someone if I don’t have clue about them. Come on! Give us the REAL you!

Here’s to hoping I see more real posts on the hops. We need them.

  1. I just usually read the about me section if I want to know. I don't find all of the blogs on blog hops, I will just usually look at someone else's blog roll and find one with a catchy title and go from there.
